Ethereum treasuries drive demand.

Demand for Ethereum is heating up as U.S.-based treasury firms compete to acquire as much ETH as possible. Bitmine, Sharplink and others are launching stock-like products that allow traditional investors to gain Ethereum exposure through their brokerage accounts, without having to buy or store crypto themselves.

Bitmine has already set an ambitious goal. The firm wants to acquire 5 percent of all existing ETH. That would mean billions in inflows into Ethereum and helps explain the recent 4 percent price jump. This isn’t hype. This is regulated capital flowing in from Wall Street, which is now turning its attention to Ethereum.

U.S. and Japan sign major trade deal.

The United States and Japan signed a historic trade agreement this week. It’s the largest bilateral deal ever between the two countries, aimed at reducing import tariffs and lowering trade barriers. After years of tension, this marks a new chapter in the relationship between two of the world’s biggest economies.

Markets responded with relief. In times of geopolitical uncertainty, signs of global cooperation are welcomed. Stock markets rose, and crypto prices also saw a modest boost as confidence in global stability improved.

Trump goes all in on Bitcoin.

Donald Trump has turned his bitcoin conviction into action. Through his family holding company, he launched a Bitcoin treasury firm that now holds over $2 billion worth of BTC. That makes it the fifth-largest corporate holder of bitcoin, right alongside names like Strategy and Tether.

Even more striking. Trump has now allocated $2 billion of his $3 billion in liquid assets to bitcoin. This positions the U.S. president not just as a supporter of crypto but as someone who sees bitcoin as a strategic asset. Whether he’s trying to front-run a future U.S. national reserve or simply believes in bitcoin’s monetary role, it shows how deeply crypto has penetrated the highest circles of power.
